Burberry Fitting Engineer App

At Burberry, a fitting session can often be a hectic environment, with a fitting engineer having to juggle multiple tasks at once. A fitting engineer will have to take notes on the fly, listen to critiques and make amendments. All of this information then needs to be recorded on their CMS system, which can take a significant amount of time.

For an innovation project at IBM, my challenge was to streamline this process for fitting engineers. An iPad app was created which provided a simple database of fitting sessions. For each fitting session, the fitting engineer is able to capture notes either through voice, or through by typing notes manually. All of these notes are stored in app and then can be exported in a format that can be used in their CMS system.
